Journey 2017
The International Partnership Ministry Team of Pittsburgh Presbytery is pleased to announce that applications for the the 2017 Investment in Mission Trip are now available.
The journey will permit a group of up to two dozen leaders from Pittsburgh to gather in Malawi with a group of their counterparts from Malawi and South Sudan.
Dates
July 10, 2017 (evening) - July 25, 2017 (afternoon)
Cost
The cost of the trip is approximately $3,200 per person.
Theme
The theme of the trip will be Leadership and Leadership Development.
Our intention is to provide Pastors, Elders, Deacons, and other church leaders the chance to experience a leadership seminar/retreat in Malawi,
along with the opportunity to "shadow" persons holding similar positions in the Church of Central Africa: Presbyterian.
Additional Expenses
In addition to the overall trip cost, each traveling missionary will be responsible for individual expenses, such as: passport, immunizations, anti-malaria medication, and customary gifts for host families and partner churches.
